A Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in Failsworth wish to hire a full time Youth Worker for an after Easter start. The successful applicant working as a Youth Worker will join a supportive staff team and undertake regular training; there is an opportunity for this to become a permanent position. Teaching Personnel Manchester SEN branch work in partners hip with this school based in Bolton to cater for all of their staffing needs.

The school caters for secondary aged children aged 11-16 who struggle to access education due to their learning needs, specifically you will support children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The role as a behaviour mentor will include undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/programmes, both on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, taking into consideration pupil learning styles.
