A Secondary Pupil Referral Unit in Failsworth wish to hire a full time Youth Worker for an after Easter start. The successful applicant working as a Youth Worker will join a supportive staff team and undertake regular training; there is an opportunity for this to become a permanent position. The school caters for secondary aged children aged 11-16 who struggle to access education due to their learning needs, specifically you will support children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The role as a behaviour mentor will include undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/programmes, both on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, taking into consideration pupil learning styles.
