Teaching Personnel are an Education Recruitment Agency who work with both teachers and school in Cornwall to provide the best education for children.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is highly motivated and has a passion for education to join TP and start work in the new academic year. We need someone situated within travel distance of Newquay and available from 8:00am. Previous experience is preferred but relevant experience in another industry will be considered. Practise in Behavioural Management, Phonic and Math schemes is advantageous as you may use this throughout your journey as a TA. Safeguarding training can be offered to you when registering with TP and other CPD Training is accessible during your journey with us.

You will be required to work alongside both the teachers and students to teach a variety of subjects during the school day. You will assist them on their classroom tasks and offer extra support when and if needed. You may be required to work both inside and outside of the classroom and partake in a multitude of tasks. To be successful, you should have a good understanding of the National Curriculum, and have exiting ideas to present these lessons.

By registering with Teaching Personnel, you will be supported by a dedicated consultant who will help you with your application and support you through your educational journey. You will also have access to MyTP which will allow you to choose the days you wish to work, the locations you wish to travel and the hours that suit you.

All you need to get started is a CV that is up to date with previous employment and qualifications on and accurate dates, a DBS Check on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one and be happy for us to contact your two most recent employers for references.
