KS1 Teacher – Sheffield (S4, S5, S6, S35)
Start Date: Flexible / January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time roles available
Pay: £120 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel is partnering with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Sheffield to recruit passionate KS1 Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting pupils during the crucial early years of primary education.
The Role:

Teaching across Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)

Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-
Has experience teaching in KS1 (ECTs welcome to apply)

Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
-
Is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting young learners

Has a good understanding of phonics and early literacy development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
