Year 2 Teacher – North Sheffield

Location: North Sheffield
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £120–£200 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a motivated and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in North Sheffield with an immediate start available.

The Role

  • Full class teacher responsibilities within a Year 2 setting

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress

  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team

This opportunity has the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Has experience teaching within KS1 (Year 2 experience desirable)

  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to pupil progress

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
