Teaching assistant - Romford

£60-£80 daily pay- PAYE Scheme

We are recruiting for an experienced, personable teaching assistant to join our special school in Romford for children aged 2 - 19 years. This will be on a full time basis immediately! All of the students here have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated difficulties in the areas of emotional / social and communication and interaction (Autistic Spectrum Disorder and / or speech and language difficulties). In addition, many students may have sensory and / or physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

Person specification:

• Have at least 3 months experience with children or adults with special needs
• We welcome applications from anyone who has a family member with special needs or completed voluntary work in the following areas: Mental health ,Medical care , Sports , Psychology , Play workers
• Flexible to deliver support across primary and secondary classes on 1:1 and group basis
• Drives in the local area to Romford and can commute daily
• Immediate start
• Monday to Friday : 8.30-3.30pm during school term time only
