Teaching Assistant required in Burnley

Are you a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or Support Assistant seeking work in the Burnley area?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Support Assistant to work in a very challenging Burnley Secondary Pupil Referral Unit. The School is seeking a confident, hard working and enthusiastic Support Worker to work with pupils who often display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and currently has 50 pupils on roll.

The role will be full time and due to start after the October half term and it is likely to continue for the rest of the academic year. The School are looking for somebody who is looking for a long term role and has a strong work ethic. You must not be phased by behavioural difficulties and ideally you will hold the Team Teach qualification.

The candidate must be looking for a long term role, the candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviours, SEMH difficulties and Autism and the candidate MUST be happy when working with very challenging behaviours.
