Teaching Personnel are working with a number or schools in the Bourenmouth area, including SEN schools. We have a number of positions available for Teaching Assistants to work with SEN children on a 1:1 basis as well as general TAs within SEN and behaviour settings.
All of our positions will start on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidates. The positions we have available are mainly full time, working Monday-Friday, 8.30-4.00 and are long term.
We have a school in Bournemouth who are looking for two candidates to work as general TAs in Key Stage 1. This is a school catering for pupils with challenging behaviour, so experience with SEN and/or behavioural needs is vital. You will be required to work with small groups of children and on a 1:1 basis. Strengths in Literacy and Numeracy will be desirable.
Requirements:
Minimum
* experience of working with children
* GCSEs (A* to C) in English and mathematics
Candidates will need clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) registered with the Update Service.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
