Are you someone who loves to support child welfare and development?

We are working with a Tameside based Catholic Primary school school which provides a happy and supportive environment with the support from home, parish and community.

The school hopes to recruit a Teaching Assistant who has a Teaching Assistant qualification therefore has an understanding of classroom management and efficient student support. Experience in a school environment would be ideal alongside a good knowledge of the Primary curriculum if possible.

The students study the national curriculum which is delivered in a broad and balanced approach, so students can grow as individuals as well as successful learners.

A Teaching Assistant should be enthusiastic, caring and patient and treat each child's well-being with utmost priority, helping the school to be a safe and inclusive space for all.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

The school require on and off support throughout the year depending on student intake and staffing needs, so there is always opportunity for contract extension and permanent roles for staff who are a great asset to the school.
