Job Role: Teaching Assistant

Pay: GBP65-GBP75 per day

Contract Length: March 2020 to September 2020 with extension available

Teaching Assistants are required for a small and local college in Uxbridge. They are searching for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their growing team due to an increase in students. The college are either looking for someone who has previous experience in an SEN, care setting or someone open to working with young adults with special needs.

Teaching Assistant long-term contracts begins as soon as possible with the successful teaching assistant being required to commit until September 2020 and beyond if this is what you want to do.

The college will provide you with fantastic training on site and you will be working amongst like minded Teaching Assistants and management.

The Teaching Assistant roles are from Monday – Thursday each week although there are some 5 day a week roles available locally.

TRAINING IS PROVIDED IN MOVING AND HANDLING AND ‘TEAM TEACH’ (POSTIVE HANDLING) AND ALL STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS.

Teaching Assistant - Requirements;

• Degree in any Specialism with interest working with young adults
• Or experience working in an Special Educational Needs (SEN) or care setting
• Open to personal care, moving and handling or positive handling support
• Available for work immediately
