Teaching Assistant job in Hayes Primary School

Job description

A primary SEN school for children with autism in Hayes have opportunities for Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants looking for full time work. The school are aiming to interview potential candidates for immediate roles.

The school are looking Teaching Assistant who:

  • Live in Hayes or local areas
  • 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday availability
  • Have experience supporting autism and challenging behaviour
  • Are open to supporting personal care/nappy changing
  • A level qualified as a minimum

Additional experience/training preferred for this role:

  • Autism Awareness
  • PECS, Makaton, TEACCH and Phonics
  • Team Teach Training

Successful applicants will need to provide references and hold an up to date child only DBS registered onto the £13 update service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
