Pay: £84 – £95 per day (paid weekly)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a supportive and inclusive school in Wimborne, seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing school environment.

The Role:

• Provide classroom support to the teacher and pupils during lessons.
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with children who need additional help.
• Support pupils with a range of learning abilities and needs, including SEN.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement.
• Help with lesson preparation and general classroom organisation.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (formal or informal).
• Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children’s education.
• Be confident in managing classroom behaviour positively.
• (Desirable) Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
