A welcoming primary school in Dorchester is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a genuine difference in the lives of young learners.

The Role:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm (term-time only)
• General classroom support across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Assist with small group work, classroom organisation, and behaviour routines
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to meet pupil needs
• Opportunities to lead learning activities and interventions as confidence grows

✅ The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in an educational or care setting (desired but not essential)
• Enthusiastic, reliable and confident with primary-age learners
• Patient, flexible, and able to follow routines and guidance
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• A current DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply

Salary:

• A market-related daily rate, reflective of experience and qualifications
• Paid weekly, with access to pension and holiday pay entitlements
