Part-Time Teaching Assistants – Wimborne
Location: Wimborne
Hours: Part-time (flexible days, Monday to Friday)
Role: Teaching Assistant (General Classroom & SEN support)
Pay: Market-related (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidates)

We are currently seeking motivated and adaptable Part-Time Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive primary and secondary schools across Wimborne.
Whether you have classroom experience or transferable skills from a care, youth work or support background, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role:
- Support teachers with day-to-day classroom delivery
- Assist individual or small groups of pupils with learning activities
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or learning difficulties
- Be flexible and ready to step into different year groups or schools if needed
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient and reliable nature
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
