Teaching Assistant

The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Urmston. In this role, you'll work closely with class teachers to support high-quality learning across a range of subjects. You’ll provide tailored support to individuals and small groups, help with lesson planning, and contribute to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive, and effective lessons
• Provide focused support to individuals and small groups, both in and out of the classroom
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports students’ learning and well-being
• Assist with the planning and preparation of lesson materials and resources
• Deliver targeted interventions for students with additional needs
• Support students’ social and emotional development
• Contribute to tracking student progress and providing feedback
• Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
