Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a highly regarded primary school in Rusholme, which is seeking a committed, enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team from April. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils during a pivotal stage of their primary education.

The school is looking for someone warm, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about helping children achieve their best. As part of the Year 6 team, you will play a key role in supporting learning, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils build the confidence and skills they need as they prepare for secondary school.

Key Requirements

• A practising Catholic, or someone willing to actively support the Catholic ethos and values of the school
• Recent and relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE level or equivalent)
• Confident behaviour management with a consistent and calm approach
• A good understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly within Upper Key Stage 2
