Teaching Personnel is excited to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing, and development within a nurturing and supportive school environment.
The Role
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support learning across the school, deliver targeted interventions, and help pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead learning activities and support classroom teaching.
- Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote pupils' confidence, wellbeing, and personal development.
What We're Looking For
- HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and nurturing approach.
- Confidence supporting pupils across a range of abilities.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
