Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Wythenshawe. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to provide full-time PPA cover from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for confident classroom practitioners who enjoy leading learning, building positive relationships with pupils, and making a real impact across multiple year groups. Best of all, all lessons and resources are prepared in advance, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging learning experiences.
The Role
As a PPA Cover Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You'll step confidently into classrooms, deliver pre-planned lessons, and help create an environment where every child can thrive.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons across a variety of year groups
- Support pupils' academic progress and participation in lessons
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies and classroom routines
- Work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupil development and attainment
About You
We're looking for candidates who:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Have experience leading whole-class learning sessions
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Are adaptable and confident working across different age groups
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
