Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Wythenshawe to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants for full-time PPA cover roles starting in October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident classroom practitioners who enjoy leading learning, supporting pupils' development, and working across a variety of year groups. With all lesson plans and resources provided, you'll be able to focus on delivering engaging lessons and creating positive learning experiences for pupils.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

The Role

As a Full-Time PPA Cover Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes pupil success
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and confidently
• Adapt to different classrooms and year groups as required
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leaders to ensure continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Have experience supporting or delivering learning across primary age groups
• Are confident leading whole-class activities and covering lessons independently
• Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Are adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
