Job description

Level 2 Teaching Assistant – WN2 Area
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (potential to become permanent)
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications

We are working closely with a primary school in the WN2 area of Wigan who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to support pupils in Key Stage 2, contributing to their academic progress and personal development in a collaborative learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
  • A current enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to assist with learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher, including small group and one-to-one support.
  • A proactive and caring approach to helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
