Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Salford

A warm and nurturing primary school in Salford is partnering with Teaching Personnel to recruit a caring, proactive, and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from March.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of the classroom team, supporting the class teacher and helping create a positive, engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering one-to-one and small-group support
• Assisting with planning, delivering, and reviewing lessons
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom setting
• Supporting pupils with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL
• Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom routines
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

About You

We’re looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Ideally, you will have:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school
• A positive, can-do attitude and a love for supporting learning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent – highly desirable)
