Level 3 Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Primary School in Salford

A friendly and nurturing primary school in Sale is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a caring, proactive, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping to foster a positive, engaging learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and follow-up activities
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and EAL
• Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for supporting learning
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable
