Teaching Personnel is pleased to be supporting a large, vibrant, and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking a committed full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team from March.
This vacancy has arisen due to a planned staff absence within Key Stage 1.

While recent KS1 experience is desirable, it is not essential. The school welcomes applications from individuals who are enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about helping young learners thrive.

Role Overview

• Position: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
• Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and/or HLTA in delivering engaging and well-structured learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment.
• Assist with preparing, organising, and maintaining a stimulating classroom setting.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
