Full-Time Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Salford Primary School (Starting November)
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a large and vibrant primary school in Salford to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 classroom starting in November. This opportunity has become available due to a planned staff absence within Key Stage 1.

While recent experience in Key Stage 1 is beneficial, it is not essential—the school welcomes applicants who are enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young learners.

Position Details:

• Role: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher or HLTA in delivering structured learning activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and support classroom management
• Help maintain a stimulating and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with staff and parents to support each child’s development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
