About the School

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a large, dynamic, and inclusive primary school in Salford. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis this September.

About the Role

This position has become available due to a planned staff absence within KS1. While experience in Key Stage 1 is beneficial, the school is equally interested in candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

In this role, you will:

• Support teaching and learning within a Year 1 classroom
• Assist in delivering structured and engaging activities alongside the class teacher or HLTA
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a focused learning environment
• Contribute to creating an organised, stimulating classroom space
• Work closely with staff and parents to support each child’s development
