Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a large, vibrant, and inclusive primary school in Salford, who are seeking a committed Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis from September.

This opportunity has arisen due to a planned staff absence within KS1. While recent Key Stage 1 experience is desirable, it is not essential. The school is keen to hear from enthusiastic, adaptable individuals who are passionate about supporting young learners in the early stages of their education.

Role Details

• Position: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
• Contract: Full-time
• Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher and/or HLTA in delivering engaging and structured learning activities
• Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, purposeful classroom environment
• Assist with preparing and maintaining a stimulating and well-organised learning space
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to support pupil progress and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
