Teaching Assistant

Level 3 Teaching Assistant A warm, nurturing, and community focused primary school in M26 is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to appoint a purposeful, dedicated, and adaptable Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time (8.45am-3.15pm) from September. The role is needed for the Autumn term at least (September-December), with the view to transition onto a permanent contract.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and able to thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

· Providing focused 1:1 and small group support

· Assisting with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of lessons and learning activities

· Helping create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

· Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, requiring flexibility, patience, and a responsive approach

· Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom routines

· Building strong and supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

We are seeking a candidate who is:

· Qualified with a Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate (or equivalent)

· Experienced in working with children, ideally within a primary school or KS2 setting

· Caring, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about supporting young learners

· Confident working with diverse SEN needs, demonstrating adaptability and resilience

· An excellent communicator and proactive team player

· Patient, empathetic, and committed to child centred practice
