The school is seeking a motivated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive and welcoming team this September. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality learning within a collaborative school environment.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to support, plan, and deliver engaging lessons, while also leading interventions to help pupils reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, well-structured lessons
• Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs to boost progress
• Preparing and maintaining classroom resources and learning materials
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting pupils’ social development and emotional wellbeing
• Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress where required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified as an HLTA (or with equivalent experience)
• Experienced in supporting teaching and learning within a primary school setting
• Knowledgeable about child development and effective classroom practice
• A strong communicator with excellent organisation and teamwork skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
