Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Moston
A friendly and nurturing primary school in Moston is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a dedicated, proactive, and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from March.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing targeted one-to-one and small group support
- Assisting with planning, delivering, and reviewing lessons and learning activities
- Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with diverse learning needs, including SEND and EAL
- Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to effective classroom management
- Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who brings:
- Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting
- A positive, enthusiastic approach and a genuine passion for education
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a caring, child-centred mindset
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), which is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
