Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Moston
Start Date: September
A friendly and nurturing primary school in Moston is working in partnership with Teaching Personnel to recruit a committed, proactive, and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development within the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group support
- Assisting with the planning, delivery, and review of lessons and learning activities
- Supporting the creation of a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Working with pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting effective classroom management
- Developing strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual who can bring energy and dedication to the role. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for education
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a child-centred approach
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent – highly desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
