Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Salford

Full-Time | EYFS – KS2 | Start Date: After October Half Term

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several welcoming and supportive primary schools across Salford. We’re currently seeking experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to provide PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, starting after the October half term.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident TA3s who are ready to step up and take on greater responsibility—delivering lessons from pre-prepared plans without the added pressure of planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging lessons across a range of year groups during teachers’ PPA time
• Support pupils’ learning and encourage active participation
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support academic and developmental progress

What We’re Looking For

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience leading whole-class sessions with confidence
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility to work across different age groups and key stages
• A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Job Details

• Contract Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)
• Start Date: After October half term
• Pay: Competitive daily rates, based on experience
