This school is dedicated to nurturing every child’s academic, emotional, and social development. To support their continued growth, they are seeking a committed and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team this November.

About the Role

As a HLTA, you will be instrumental in enriching the learning experience across the school. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to support lesson delivery, lead small group activities, and contribute to planning and assessment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HLTA who is eager to make a lasting impact in a vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons
• Lead targeted one-to-one and small group interventions
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assist with pupils’ emotional and pastoral development
• Prepare resources and help track pupil progress
• Deliver tailored support for pupils with additional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote pupil success

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a HLTA or senior classroom support role
• A proactive, positive attitude and genuine passion for education
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse learning needs
• HLTA qualification or equivalent (highly desirable)
