Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a large, vibrant, and inclusive primary school in Swinton to recruit a full-time Year 1 Teaching Assistant, starting in January. This position has become available due to a planned staff absence within the Key Stage 1 team.

Role Details:

• Position: Year 1 Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher and HLTA in planning and delivering structured learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to effective classroom management.
• Help create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support each child’s development and wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
