A friendly and inclusive primary school in Salford is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team after the February half-term. This exciting opportunity is offered in collaboration with Teaching Personnel, one of the UK’s leading education recruitment agencies.

‍ About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils to ensure a positive, engaging, and well-structured learning experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils
• Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment
• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents

✅ About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Experienced in working with children, ideally within a primary setting
• Passionate about education and making a positive impact
• Strong communicators with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patient, caring, and empathetic in their approach
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
