Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Sale. The school is committed to supporting every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth, offering a warm and vibrant learning environment driven by a dedicated staff team.

They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September, playing a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across the school.

‍ About the Role

As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to support and enhance learning across a range of subjects. You’ll lead small-group sessions, deliver targeted interventions, and contribute to engaging lessons that build confidence, progress, and wellbeing in every pupil.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons
• Deliver targeted 1:1 support and small-group interventions
• Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
• Provide pastoral and emotional support to pupils
• Prepare learning resources and track pupil progress
• Lead interventions for pupils with additional learning needs
• Build strong, professional relationships with staff, parents, and carers

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience working as an HLTA or in a similar Teaching Assistant role
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and caring approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence in delivering learning support across a range of abilities
• HLTA qualification or relevant experience (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
