Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a forward-thinking, inclusive primary school in Sale that is dedicated to helping every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school fosters a nurturing and stimulating environment, supported by a passionate team of educators.

They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team from January and make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

‍ The Role

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning across a range of subjects. You’ll take an active role in lesson delivery, small group work, and individual support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning experience for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils’ emotional and pastoral needs with care and empathy.
• Prepare teaching resources and monitor pupil progress.
• Deliver interventions for children with additional needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar HLTA or TA role.
• A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach to education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence in leading learning activities and supporting diverse needs.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (desirable).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
