Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Salford | September Start

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and motivated individual to support pupils' learning and development within a nurturing school environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping children achieve their full potential while contributing to a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing targeted support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small group interventions
  • Assisting teachers with the planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging lessons
  • Supporting pupils with a range of educational needs, including SEND and EAL
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting effective classroom management
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to enhance learning outcomes
  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff where appropriate

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably within a primary school setting
  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach to supporting learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
  • A patient, caring, and nurturing attitude towards supporting children
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
