Teaching Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to collaborate closely with class teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects. In this role, you will provide targeted support to individual students and small groups, assist with lesson planning, and help create a vibrant, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student can thrive. The school fosters a supportive environment that nurtures academic achievement as well as social and emotional development. They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team starting this September.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons that keep students motivated and progressing.

• Provide individualized and small group support inside and outside the classroom.

• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

• Address students’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic needs.

• Assist with administrative duties such as preparing teaching materials and monitoring student progress.

• Deliver targeted interventions for children with additional needs as necessary.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with parents, teachers, and staff.
