Teaching Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to collaborate closely with class teachers in delivering lessons across a variety of subjects. In this role, you will provide targeted support to individual students and small groups, assist with lesson planning, and help create a vibrant, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student can thrive. They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HLTA to join their team starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons that keep students motivated and progressing.
• Provide individualized and small group support inside and outside the classroom.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Address students’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic needs.
• Assist with administrative duties such as preparing teaching materials and monitoring student progress.
• Deliver targeted interventions for children with additional needs as necessary.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with parents, teachers, and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
