Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a primary-aged pupil with Autism and very challenging behaviour. Ideally you will have worked on a 1:1 basis with pupils who have additional needs OR in a challenging SEN school environment.

It would also be advantageous if you had previous experience of working with EAL pupils.

Once fully-vetted through Teaching Personnel, this position is available upon school return, with the opportunity of gaining a permanent contract within an established primary school in Rushden. Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 3.30pm, your main duties will be to manage behaviour and engage the pupil in lessons and set work.

To speed up our vetting processes, it would also be beneficial if you already had a Child Workforce DBS on the DBS Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
