SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Penzance, Cornwall

Location: Penzance, Cornwall
Start Date: Immediate or November 2025 start
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with several Primary Schools in the Penzance area, who are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of learning needs.

The Role:

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, EHCPs, or additional learning needs

  • Assisting the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs

  • Supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development

  • Helping pupils engage with their learning in a positive and inclusive way

  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN or behavioural needs

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
