Teaching Assistant – Penzance, Cornwall

Location: Penzance, Cornwall
Start Date: Immediate or November 2025 start
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and helping them reach their full potential?
Teaching Personnel are working closely with several Primary Schools in the Penzance area who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their friendly and supportive teams.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning

  • Providing support for pupils with SEN and additional needs where required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in education

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
