KS2 Literacy and Numeracy Teaching Assistant – Harrow
This is a spectacular opportunity for a considerate and caring individual looking for a rewarding new role, assisting KS2 students prepare for their SATs and have the desire to make a real difference in pupil’s lives.
Requirements for the Role:
· Minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified is essential
· Use initiative, the ability to adapt and to be inventive when dealing with different needs
· Have worked with a range of SEN and EAL pupils, including downs syndrome, autism and children who are non verbal
· Worked with children age 7-11 not necessarily in an educational capacity
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Be calm, passionate and understanding

As a potential applicant with previous experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training.
