EYFS Teaching Assistant – Level 3 Qualified

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school in the DH6 area who are seeking to appoint a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and contribute to their development at this important stage of education.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom

• Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions

• Assist in planning and delivering play-based and engaging activities

• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and academic development

• Help with classroom organisation and creating a positive learning environment

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)

• Experience supporting children in an EYFS setting

• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and framework

• A nurturing and supportive approach to working with young children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
