Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for experienced and confident Additional Leaning Needs (ALN) Learning Support Assistants, to work in Specialist Teaching Facilities and pupil referral units in and around Carmarthen.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three months’ experience of working within a classroom environment. You may be required to support pupils on a one to basis so experience in this field would be advantageous, but not essential.
We are looking for applicants who have:
- Experience working in an Additional Learning Needs environment
- Recent experience in a classroom environment
- ASD
- PMLD
- An excellent track record
- Strong behaviour management
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term
