Teaching Assistant

A primary school in Cardiff are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a special needs (SEN) pupil who can display challenging behaviour. The pupil is in Year 1 and the role is temporary on-going at the moment (with the chance to go permanent for the right candidate).

The school is a multi-racial Primary based in an inner city school of Cardiff.

The successful applicant will be: -

• A calm and caring person who is prepared to work hard to ensure the best for the pupil
• Committed to working as part of a team, sharing expertise and learning from others
• Resourceful, resilient, robust and empathetic with a good sense of humour
• Able to liaise with teachers and parents to report back on the pupils progress

Ideally we are looking for someone who has previous experience working with children (however this doesn't have to be in an education setting)

Pay: -Minimum GBP60 per day (please note that we dont pay using an umbrella company!)

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate for this role.

The role will start in September 2020.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
