TEACHING ASSISTANT BOSTON

Teaching Personnel are currently working with an alternative provision in the Boston area that is looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to start in September 2019. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with SEMH or Behavioural issues. The role will involve working with individuals who have been permanently excluded, or who are at the risk of permanent exclusion. The provisions aim is to provide a positive learning experience so that the students can gain the skills and confidence that will allow them to become more successful within education.

Role:

• Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
• Working 1:1 or in small groups
• Liaise with teachers and support staff to develop education plans
• Nurture and develop the pupils social and academic potential
• Age range 4-16
• 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday (early finish Friday!)

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of behavioural management within small groups or 1:1 setting
• Experience with SEMH and Autism
• Great communication skills
• Be able to commute to or live around the Boston area
