SEN Secondary School Teacher – Farnborough
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS – to scale)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Agency: Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Secondary School Teachers to work within specialist provisions in the Farnborough area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs.

The Role:

You will be teaching secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include:

  • Autism (ASC)

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties

  • Communication and interaction needs

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans, supporting pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Have experience working within an SEN or specialist setting (secondary preferred)

  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills

  • Be patient, resilient and committed to inclusive education

Essential Requirements:

  • Current QTS

  • Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Recent, relevant teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
