SEN Teacher – Portsmouth

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS)

Teaching Personnel is working with a specialist school in Portsmouth to recruit a General SEN Teacher for a full-time role starting ASAP.


The Role:

  • Teach and support secondary-aged pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD and SEMH

  • Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets

  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

  • Work closely with support staff and SEN professionals


Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Experience working with SEN (desirable, not essential)

  • Confident, patient, and adaptable teaching approach

  • Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
