Teaching Personnel are delighted to announce their Catholic Schools Recruitment Partnership. The Sheffield South Primary team have positions in Catholic schools beginning now and for September, with a high number of our clients looking to support your career progression through temporary and permanent positions.

Teaching Personnel are well equipped to secure you your ideal role in education this September.

Did you know in England, 74.7% of Catholic primary schools are judged good or outstanding by Ofsted (64% nationally).

Did you know in England, Catholic schools outperform the national average English and Maths KS2 SATs scores by 6%.

Teaching Personnel are partnered with a number of CPD providers, including a new partnership with St Patrick's RC High school, Manchester to ensure our candidates are being trained and upskilled in the areas schools require.

We are looking for Teachers who can evidence high quality practice with the ability to plan exciting and engaging lessons and be a reflective practitioner. We are looking for enthusiastic and resourceful candidates, who are willing to be good team members and contribute to all aspects of school life. If you are keen to further your personal development, we have a CPD Academy and run regular courses. Over the Easter Holidays, we are running a Team Teach course for our staff members. We are looking for teachers who have a good knowledge of current expectations and assessments, as there may be the opportunity to support SATS through tailored booster sessions. As well as whole class teaching, we do offer the opportunity to work in schools delivering specialist tuition for KS1 and KS2 SATS.

Our Ideal Teacher will be:

  • An enthusiastic and resourceful individual
  • Experienced Teaching EYFS/KS1/KS2
  • Committed to raising standards and attainment through high quality teaching
  • Resourceful, planning exciting and engaging lessons
  • Knowledgeable about current assessments across Key Stages
  • Experience supporting SATs would be beneficial but not essential
  • Able to support the Catholic ethos

In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • Up to £160 per day, depending on your previous experience
  • A dedicated consultant to support you
  • Ongoing CPD through our CPD Academy (including Team Teach and our 'Come and See' programme)
  • Work in schools exclusive to Teaching Personnel
  • Full or part time work to fit around your existing commitments
