Are you a person who is experienced in support and have a naturally caring personality?
We're looking to recruit staff who have a plethora of experience in areas such as support work, care work, social work or education, to work with one of our biggest clients in the Stockport area.
Our client provides educational and residential support for young people and adults who have moderate to severe learning disabilities coupled with physical disabilities.
As a support worker you will assist them in their daily routine whilst at school and with their additional needs such as personal care, feeding, sensory needs and communication which is why knowledge, experience and skills in this area is ideal.
Any training which can back up this experience such as Team-Teach/MAPA, Moving and Handling, Prevent, Safeguarding and Autism Awareness would also be preferable however additional training opportunities can be undergone through Teaching Personnel's CPD Academy.
The opportunity to work with our client can be done on a supply, contract or part time basis which can suit a number of external commitments. Work days will be Monday to Friday.
To work in this role you must have a child and adult DBS which is registered to the update service.
