Supply Teaching

Secondary schools in Tidworth and Amesbury are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide short-term, long-term and ad-hoc cover across a range of subjects.

These opportunities are within mainstream secondary settings and are ideal for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, whether that be a few days per week or full-time supply. Roles are available immediately and ongoing, with flexibility to suit individual availability.

Supply Teachers will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining positive classroom behaviour, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students are essential.

Schools are looking for teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching within UK secondary schools (KS3 and KS4)

• Can confidently deliver lessons across their subject specialism

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
