Job description

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Tidworth is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task with the work that has been set.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine interest in working with young people

  • Be confident managing a classroom environment

  • Be organised, adaptable, and able to use their initiative

  • Have previous experience working in a school or with young people (desirable but not essential)

This position would suit a recent graduate, an aspiring teacher, or anyone looking to develop their career within education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
