Cover Supervisor – Tidworth

Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time
Location: Tidworth
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Tidworth is seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis from January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about supporting learning in the classroom. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain focused, motivated and engaged in their studies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared work set by teachers

  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment

  • Supporting students with their learning and encouraging good progress

  • Assisting with general school duties as required

  • Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff to uphold school values and expectations

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with young people, ideally within a school or educational setting

  • Be confident, organised, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be proactive, reliable, and flexible in their approach

  • Be enthusiastic about education and supporting students’ personal and academic development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
