Job description

Maths Teacher

A bright and passionate secondary school in the heart of rural community just outside Salisbury is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher to join their ranks From February Half term until the Easter break.

The Role

The successful candidate would have a have a love of numbers and have the passion to pass that on to the next generation. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across both Key stage 3 and 4, instilling the students with the skills and confidence required to understand different mathematical processes, and implement these with ease and enjoyment, in addition to creating and nurturing that positive education environment. This is a great opportunity to jump straight into a great department and help impact these students’ learning within this academic year.

The Ideal Candidate will

-          Inspire the pupils within each lesson

-          Share their passion for Maths

-          Instil the pupils with the confidence and skills to tackle any problem, Maths and beyond

-          Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

-          Have experience teaching both Key stage 3 and 4

-          Have a strong yet nurturing classroom demeanour

-          Plan and deliver strong and engaging lessons

-          Work well within a collaborative and creative subject team
