As part of the Hounslow Education Partnership we work closely with a range of schools across the Hounslow borough, providing access to all candidates to a wider range of positions and opportunities. We are currently recruiting for a number of highly experienced teaching assistants to work on a supply basis within a range of schools.
What does supply mean?
Working on a supply basis you will work within a range of classes, schools and environment providing specialist support on a day to day or longer basis. All supply bookings can range from one day to a term, depending on what the cover requirements are. It may include long/short term sickness cover, maternity/paternity, school trips, training/courses and other obligations.
You will be led by the school's senior leadership team and the assigned class teacher, they will provide you with a plan for the day demonstrating the school's requirements. On a day to day basis you will be working from 8:30 to 3:30, finishing the day by ensuring all students have left for the day and the classroom is left in a tidy manner.
Ideal candidate?
- Experienced working within an educational setting
- Confident working within a range of different environments
- Flexible working with students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities including those with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
