Job Advert: Supply Teacher – Full-Time (NN18 Area)

Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2025
Hours: Full-Time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Location: NN18 Area, Northamptonshire

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Supply Teacher to provide full-time cover in primary schools within the NN18 area. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of year groups, delivering high-quality teaching in line with the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and school plans.

• Effectively manage the classroom environment to maintain focus and positive behaviour.

• Mark and assess pupils’ work following school marking policies.

• Support the continuity of learning during staff absences.

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure pupils’ progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.

• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective marking practices.

• Experience working in primary education is desirable.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different school settings.
