Job Title: Year 4 Teacher
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: 2nd September 2025
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: Paid to scale

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum.

  • Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback to support progress.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and achievement.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum.

  • Experience planning and delivering lessons at Key Stage 2.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to creating a positive learning experience for all pupils.
