Job Advert: Year 3 Teacher – Full-Time (NN2 Area)

Start Date: Monday 2nd September 2025
Hours: Full-Time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Location: NN2 Area, Northampton

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NN2 area. This is a full-time role starting on Monday 2nd September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 national curriculum.

  • Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour management.

  • Mark and assess pupils' work in accordance with school policies.

  • Foster a positive learning environment that enables all pupils to reach their full potential.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective marking strategies.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
